<abstract>This GIS data set represents the Coastal Habitat Integrated Mapping and Monitoring Program (CHIMMP) regional boundaries as identified by participants at the CHIMMP workshop April 29-30, 2014.</abstract>

<procdesc>Boundaries were identified by participants at the CHIMMP workshop April 29-30, 2014. Identified boundaries were mapped in ArcGIS for Desktop 10.2.1. Interior and exterior boundaries were coastal county boundaries or neighboring counties containing saltmarsh and/or mangrove data. Ancillary data listed under "Source Information" was used to create boundaries between regions. Watershed boundaries were used unless a county or road boundary was specified. When necessary a boundary line was extended to meet the county boundary in order to create closed polygons.</procdesc>
